Red Ball Rocking Horse by Design Within Reach

When I was little, I loved rocking horses. I always wanted to be on mine, but it was kept on our screened in porch, so I only got to use it during the warm months. The Red Ball Rocking Horse from Design Within Reach is so clean and simple, I feel like it would fit in perfectly in my living room instead of being delegated to the deck (which we don't have at the moment anyways!). Knowing nothing about design, I would have assumed this was a modern version of the old rocking horse, but the original design is actually from 1965! Also, a percentage of the sales of this item will support design education through a contribution to the AIGA scholarship fund.
