Bebe Ravi

beberaviswala.jpg

As I have said in the past, I am a knitter and love all things knit. I just wish I had the skill to make something great. I just discovered Bebe Ravi, a line of baby knit clothing made by women in Kenya to generate income to support the village children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. I love great products that help out others! And these items sure are great. There's the Ndovu Collar Cardigan, the Swala Tie Front Cardigan, the Twiga Button Cardigan, and the Tai Dress. Each piece is stunning and very intricately designed. They aren't cheap at over $100 for each, but they certainly are beautiful. If you are moved by the cause, you can also donate directly to Bebe Ravi and the Patrick Chege Memorial Orphanage.
