Cart Cover by 2 Red Hens
I went food shopping the other day, and we put Anderson's car seat on top of the shopping cart. It fits well there, so I haven't thought twice about it. But now that Andy's about to move up to a bigger car seat, one that we leave in the car at all times, I realized that he will now be sitting in the cart. And really, that just turns my stomach. I think shopping carts are one of the most disgusting things out there, and I even remember reading once that there are more germs on a cart than on a public toilet. So I really really want the Cart Cover by 2 Red Hens. It has a waterproof exterior, fleece lining, loops for attaching toys, and holes to allow the safety straps through. It also zips up into a small square so you can stash it away in your diaper bag. It is machine washable and works on restaurant chairs as well. We like all the fabrics it comes in, especially Egg Drop Soup.
