We all know that alcohol is strictly verboten while you're pregnant. So many a new mother look forward to their first glass of wine. The only problem is, nobody wants to pass that alcohol along to their nursing infant. So, just how can you be sure that your breastmilk is in the clear? Well, the folks at Milkscreen created a product that provides a simple and fool-proof test to do just that. Mothers first saturate one of the reactive pads with a drop or two of breast milk. After a two-minute wait, if the pad shows a change in color, this indicates a positive result, meaning alcohol is present in the breast milk. If the pad shows no change in color, there is no alcohol content in the breast milk. So new mothers, enjoy your new found freedom, and remember to drink, and test, responsibly!
