PortaMEe

I already wrote about the carrier we used with Anderson, the Baby Bjorn. I thought it was a great carrier, but the big problem we had was that Anderson was just too big for it! We had to stop using it after Andy was 6 months old. The PortaMEe solves that problem! It doesn't list any maximum supported weight, but I would imagine that your shoulder and back will probably let you know when its too much. Best of all, its designed with an ingenious lumbar support to help take the weight off your shoulders (a problem that plagues the Original Baby Bjorn). So, this carrier will last you a lot longer, but that's not all! It has pockets all over the place for diapers, bottles, cell phones and keys. You could leave your diaper bag at home when you take your child out in this carrier. And to keep things tidy, a matching tote is included.
