Review: Bella Band

Recently we showed you Maternity Buckles which allow you to continue wearing your regular pants while you are pregnant. Another very popular product is the Bella Band. I had heard rave reviews of this product from a friend of mine, so I decided to buy one myself and try it out. The way it works is you wrap the band around your waist so you can unbutton your jeans. You can also use it to wear your pregger pants a little earlier, keep up your full panel pants up or after your baby is born on any pants.

I didn't love my band. According to the website, I was a size one. But I really think I was a two. From the beginning my band felt like it was choking my stomach. It didn't help my nausea, and it always inched up so it ended up not keeping my pants up.

However, I have heard countless stories since from women who couldn't have lived without their band. It seems to be a love it or hate it product. One great thing about them is that they are sold in a few different colors and styles. And with layering tops being so big right now, it easily looks like you're wearing a tank under your top. If we are to become pregnant again, we will probably buy the next size up and will probably like it more.
