Review: Evenflo Secure Step Top of Stair Metal Gate-She Says

You can read what Peter wrote about the Evenflo Secure Step Top of Stair Metal Gate if you'd like. But I have to give my own opinion here. I do not believe that a baby gate should have to be this exact. You shouldn't have to adjust and readjust in order to make sure it's safe and fitting securely. You should install and that's it, checking it from time to time. I do not feel safe in my house with this gate, and I will not allow Andy near it unless I am right next to him.

Also, there's a red/green indicator that shows you if it's closed or not, but it's only on one side of the gate. So I can't see if it's locked as I go down the stairs, only when I'm at the top of the stairs.

I must suggest you buy something else, I am very disappointed with this baby gate. There are many out there that have very good reviews. Make sure you do your homework ahead of time, instead of forgetting to and being forced to buy whatever looks good in the store like we did!
