Review: My Conservation Baby
Want to raise your child to be environmentally conscious and environmentally friendly? We received a package of clothing from a store dedicated to the task. The folks at My Conservation Baby, sent us a Conserve t-shirt, a Stop Global Warming t-shirt, a Stop Global Warming onesie and cap set, and a Stop Global Warming bib. We've been using the clothing for a few weeks, and have found it to be a great addition to Anderson's wardrobe.
As far as the clothing goes, everything is well constructed, and has held up to repeated washings. I think the most important part, however, is the message that you're passing along to your child. After all, they're hopefully going to be around a lot longer than we are, so its important to teach them from an early age to take care of the environment. I'm not suggesting that all you have to do is dress them in some funky clothing, but it's definitely a start.
The clothing is all made from 100% certified Egyptian organic cotton which is picked by hand and spun without the use of any chemicals. To clean it, just toss it in your washing machine with the rest of your cottons, but you should avoid washing and drying at high temperatures. Of course, as environmentally conscious parents, you probably already wash your clothing at cooler temperatures, don't you?
