Review: Happy Panda Baby Plus a Discount
Happy Panda Baby is a children's clothing boutique that specializes in larger babies. Before I gave birth, I had heard that baby clothing sizes never matched up with the actual age of the child, but having given birth to a large child myself (although not super large at birth, he's now 97th percentile in height and weight), I have certainly seen that first hand. What Happy Panda does is not only match up the size with age, but they make sure that their clothes fit the child correctly, understanding that a large baby has different proportions than an older toddler and that the shape of the clothes should therefore also be different.

When we first received our package, I was quite impressed. Most companies send their products, especially clothing, in large envelopes (which I can't hold against them as I do the same). But Happy Panda used a large box with cute little Panda stickers on it. Inside, there was a lot of packing paper and a gift box with a ribbon on it. Opening the gift box, there was our products wrapped in tissue paper. So you can obviously guess that the items all came looking great, and you don't have to worry about them being hurt in transit. It looked like it was wrapped up for a present, so if you are giving Happy Panda as a gift, be assured that it'll come to the recipient in style.

Inside the box, there were three items: a 12-18 month lap tee, a hat, and an extra small tee. First we tried the lap tee. It fit Andy wonderfully! He is now 16 months old, right in the middle of the age on the tee, and it is both longer and wider than other shirts that we own that are 12-18 month size. It is a little longer than other tees he is currently wearing. It's also made from a stretchy material. Next up was the 2T tee. I held 2T up against a Threadless 2T, and there's a noticeable difference-both longer and wider and neck is a little larger too. This tee is definitely large on Andy right now, which is funny because he's started wearing 2T from other companies. It completely covers his bum in fact. As for the hat, it's also made from a stretchy material and fit on Andy's huge head quite well.
Everything we received is made very well. They are screened perfectly with no flaws, the graphics are cute, the tees are all double stitched, and there are no tags too.
The company has also been a pleasure to work with. We've received great customer service and are quite impressed with them. I highly recommend Happy Panda to you, you won't be disappointed!
