Review: Green Pea Designs Baby Pouches
Green Pea Designs was kind enough to send us one of their pouches for review. While Andy is too big for a pouch at this point (right at the maximum weight of 35lbs), we luckily have a friend who recently had a baby, and she has been kind enough to help us with our review.
Before we begin our review, we want to explain the difference between a pouch and a sling. We didn't realize there was a difference before, but according to the Green Pea Designs website, a pouch is one solid piece of fabric, and often times it is easier to use than a sling.
Our package came in a pretty silver bag. The pouch was tied up with a ribbon, and inside the rolled up pouch was a pamphlet with directions on how to use the pouch. We were sent the Addison design. It's quite beautiful, that doesn't show up in the pictures enough. Each pouch including this one have a solid colored fabric on the other side and is reversible.
Douglas, the baby that was helping with our review, seemed to love the pouch. He was comfortable and happy in almost every position. He loves to be cuddled, so the pouch was perfect for him! The material was also really good and high quality. The pouch was constructed really well, and their sizing chart was right on for our reviewers. Customer service was also great.
Our only issue is that the directions sent with the pouch weren't that great. We highly recommend that you check out the ones on the better directions on their website, which includes a very helpful video.
We highly recommend Green Pea Designs to you. Their pouches would be perfect for a new mother. We wish we'd had one when Andy was first born.
