ReliaDose

If your baby has been sick, you know how hard it can be to get him to take medicine. ReliaDose is a product that tries to make it a little easier. Basically, it is a bottle with a syringe inside. You fill the bottle with something the baby is used to drinking like formula or juice, and you fill the syringe appropriately with the medicine. The syringe goes inside the bottle, and as your baby drinks from it, you slowly push the syringe, so your baby drinks the medicine as well. I think this is a great idea. Obviously it would work best with a baby who is used to taking a bottle though, and you should check with your doctor first to make sure that the medicine and liquid can mix. This product was the winner of the 2007 JPMA Innovation Award, and I can see why! I wish we had this when Andy was first born!
