Catch Bowl

catchbowl.jpg

We're trying to teach Andy how to feed himself right now. It's hard, mostly because I hate to have him covered in food. He always has stains going down his front when he tries to use his utensils on his own. The Catch Bowl is a great idea because it'll help with that problem at least a little. The bowl is designed with an extended lip so that it catches a lot of the food as it falls off the spoon or fork and funnels it back into the bowl. It also suctions to the table, so your child won't be able to pick it up and dump it on the ground, which we've dealt with once or twice. Also check out the Benders Adaptable Utensils, which have handles that you can adjust to match your child's grip.
