Sing Along Music

NIEHS Kids' Page

Anderson recently learned how to sing a few songs at his preschool. He asks us to sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star", the "Alphabet Song", the "Wheels on the Bus", and the "Itsy Bitsy Spider". Now, of course, we know (most of) the lyrics to these songs, but I had to look up the "Wheels on the Bus" because i only knew the first verse! Well, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, part of the National Institutes of Health, has put together a "official government website for Kids". Among lots of other neat activities are a whole list of sing along songs. Each song has the lyrics, and if you're browser is appropriately configured, you'll be able to hear the tune of the song too. There are lots of songs available -- many I've never heard of. But there's just about every song you can think of on this list (even On Top of Spaghetti!)
