I recently read a headline proclaiming the recession was over. Really? Well, okay, but many people I know are still struggling. In fact, they have found pretty creative ways to save money. Books like Homemade: How to Make Hundreds of Everyday Products Fast, Fresh, and More Naturally are teaching frugal moms and dads how to save money and provide basic needs. Recently, I started making my own laundry detergent and I swear our clothes have never been cleaner. Do the research and see what works for you. You might be surprised how quick it adds up.
