July 7th is Father/Daughter Take a Walk Day
It's official. There is a holiday every day if you are willing to look for it. Like today for example, July 7th is Father Daughter Take A Walk Day. It's actually not a bad idea. We all have busy lives. Sometimes we need a reminder to slow it down and spend time with people who matter the most in our lives. Before you hit the trail with a little one by the hand, make sure she is wearing comfortable shoes. Otherwise, your special day could turn into Father Carries the Daughter Home Day. That doesn't sound like much fun at all.
