The Teethifier - The Advanced Back Teeth Teether

Did you ever notice that most teethers have a very limited design? There's room for a little fist to cling on and a small space for a few front teeth. That's great for the front teeth, but what about those later months when the really big back teeth come in, bringing really big pain with them? You need to give your baby a way to soothe himself for his sake and your sanity. The Advanced Back Teeth Teether will help your little one reach those back areas that might be hard to reach with traditional teethers. It's also a great alternative to topical medications that might be bitter and distasteful for your baby.

Face & Body Moisturizer

During the winter months it is important to protect your baby's sensitive skin. Cold weather can turn a baby's cheeks red in minutes. If you enjoy the outdoors during this time of year or if you just want to give your little one an extra layer of protection, consider using organic aloe on your baby's skin. Nature's Baby uses organic olive oil which absorbs quickly and retains moisture. It's fragrance free so that means no added chemicals on your baby's skin.

The First Year's Infant To Toddler Tub with Sling

Bath time can be a tough time for a new parent. Babies are so dependent when they are born and the bathroom can be a dangerous place if you are not careful. Don't worry, this tub has a few features that can give a nervous parent a little help. The drain plug alerts parents if water is too hot and there is a sling and foam padding to provide extra support. These features are great, but it is important to always remain at your baby's side when he is in the tub. Once you get the routine down, it can actually be a fun bonding experience for you and your little one.

Gluten Free

So you found out you have to go gluten free. As a parent, you might be wondering, what does that even mean? A few years ago, no one even heard of the stuff, now it seems like half of America is trying to get it out of their diet. Gluten is a kind of protein that exists in wheat, barley, and rye among other carbohydrates, which means it's basically everywhere. It might be shocking to hear as a parent, but there is an upside. Gluten free websites and cookbooks are coming into the market place like crazy. Once you get used to the idea, you can check out sites like glutenfree.com and add books like the Best Ever Wheat and Gluten Free Baking Book to your collection. You will be surprised how many yummy meals you can serve your family.

When your child is sick, there is nothing worse than laying in your own bed at night listening to him cough or wheeze. That's why it is so helpful to have a humidifier like this one from Vicks. It holds enough water to run for 24 hours, which gives you a small reprieve from at least one task. It is also quiet enough to run during the night. Poolguard In-Ground and Above-Ground Pool Alarms

Yes, the nation is still experiencing bitter cold. The forecast is for snow throughout the southeast, the most unlikely of places. Therefore I feel it is only appropriate we discuss...pool safety! This pool alarm sounds a loud, continuous horn when the water's surface is broken by a child or pet of 18 lbs. or greater. In addition, the alarm has a receiver you can carry indoors with a range of 200 feet. Of course, there is no substitute for a parent's watchful eye, but this alarm will give you additional peace of mind. Think warm. Think warm.

The OASIS Guide to Asperger Syndrome

When my first child was about 15 months old, I started to notice that he was a little different than most of his peers. Well, it wasn't hard to notice, he was really different. Several pediatricians from different practices insisted he would outgrow whatever phase this was. They were wrong. I'm glad I followed my mommy gut and kept plugging on. Finally, when he was almost three he was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, ADHD and Sensory Integration Dysfunction. It was hard at first, but I took advantage of every resource I could find. The OASIS Guide to Asperger Syndrome: Completely Revised and Updated: Advice, Support, Insight, and Inspiration was so helpful to me and my husband. I've lent it to many parents that I have met on this journey. They have also found it useful. If you find yourself on this journey too, don't give up. Your child will be successful. Change never happens as quick as you want it to, but it happens.
