Let's face it, when it comes to teethers, there is not much new innovation that can be accomplished. There's the kind you can freeze or not freeze. It has a handle or there is no handle. That's about the variation among your choices. However, that does not change the fact that they are an absolute necessity during those stressful teething months. This teether by Vulli can be put in the freezer and also has a handle to make it easier for little hands to grip. It's BPA free, an important feature to keep dangerous chemicals from sneaking into your baby's body. The friendly little face on the teether is so cute too. What more could you want?

This blanket comes with matching bumper, bedskirt, crib sheet, diaper stacker, small pillow (not to be used in the crib), light switch cover, and hand painted sign. Does your back start to hurt with just the thought of giving your baby a bath? Leaning over the side of the bath tub to hold or play with your toddler is a scary mixture of pain and discomfort. In many parts of the country, it's the time of year when we bundle up in blankets to stay warm. If you have an infant, you may worry about blankets in your baby's crib due to the risk of SIDS. You can keep your baby warm and safe at the same time. SleepSacks like this one slip on easily over regular sleepwear and keep your baby toasty while he sleeps. Another useful feature is the sleeveless design that allows for ventilation and better fit. There is enough room for kicking, but it can't be kicked off. Now you can put your baby to sleep safely, and you can sleep well too.

Sesame Street has created some of the most beloved characters of all time. Big Bird and Elmo and the Cookie Monster are part of almost every child's life at some point. This blanket measures 30 inches by 45 inches and is machine washable, every busy parent's favorite feature. You can create so many memories with your child and this blanket. This is one of those times when you look at a product and say, FINALLY! Someone has finally invented this! Babies don't sit still very well for any reason, so trying to take the underarm or worse, rectal temperature of a cranky, wiggly infant can be a nightmare. This pacifier thermometer provides fast and accurate temperature readings in a way that naturally soothes your infant. Like traditional thermometers, it beeps when the reading is complete, so there's no guessing for you. That's good news, because when your baby is sick, quick answers mean a happy, healthy baby, which also means a happy mom and dad.

As you may already know, October is National Window Safety Month. Last week, we featured the Guardian Angel Window Guard, a great way to childproof your windows. However, they can be expensive. If you want to keep your little one safe but don't want to pay a hefty price, you can also use a window wedge such as the Super Stopper. These wedges are a great way to prevent windows from opening to an unsafe level that can endanger your little one's safety. You can use these on windows that you don't intend to open frequently. You can keep your little one safe and protect your budget too.

Make your list, check it twice. No, not that one...yet. I mean your Halloween safety checklist. As parents, we never want to let our children out of our sight. However, as kids get older, we do need to give them their space. Don't panic yet, there are plenty of options to keep kids of all ages safe this Halloween. If you have a toddler or kindergartner, they will love to hold on to this Light-up Lantern. It's light weight and can clip on to a stroller if necessary.
Also perfect for little trick or treaters is this LED flashlight that promises up to 200 hours of light, although I don't know any toddlers with that much stamina. It's easy to carry, the lanyard loops to treat bags, backpacks or may be worn over kids' wrists as well.
Lastly, if you're a mom on the trick or treat trail and you have a sense of humor about your safety, you can wear this lovely Light Up Pumpkin Necklace. Depending on how spooky you feel, you can choose from one of three settings: strobe, flashing, or solid. You will be the best dressed chaperone out that night.

This pillow might look strange and you might think it's a little expensive, but when your back hurts and your legs are swollen, you'll be glad you made the investment. The inner curve of this pregnancy pillow keeps mom's back and belly supported and it cradles entire body to maintain constant comfort. During the last months of your pregnancy it is so important to get plenty of rest. After all, this might be your last chance to lay down for a very long time.

Recently another mom asked me if I took baths. My response: "I wish I did." In the business of the day, we fold laundry, load the dishwasher, get the kids on and off the bus, pay bills, work full time jobs in and out of the house. Who has time for a bath? As parents, we put our children first, when what we really need to do is take time for ourselves. If you are lucky enough to get that break, treat yourself to a bath and this Spa-in-a-basket. It includes, bath gel, soap, lotion, and bath salts in a soothing honey vanilla fragrance. Play some relaxing music and you'll soon forget all the chaos on the other side of that bath room door.

Did you October is National Window Safety Month? It's a great reminder to look around and make sure you have all the bases covered when childproofing your home. Don't forget to protect your child from falls. You might be surprised how easy it can be for a child to fall through a screen. This Window Guard is a great way to childproof your windows. We have several in our house. They are sturdy and stay in place after installation. They blend in pretty well so your house doesn't have the prison look of bars on the windows. Don't worry about escape in an emergency. Individual bars can be removed with a simple pinch from an adult.

I know some of you must be thinking, what, Elf on the Shelf?? We haven't even celebrated Halloween yet! Okay, that's true, but I say it's never too early to play "the Santa card." I've been known to play it as early as July. There's no better way to get the kids in line with a little help from the Elf on a Shelf. In case you haven't heard, the Elf on a Shelf is Santa's helper who watches kids by day and reports back to Santa at night. That's how he knows who's naughty or nice. You can teach your kids all about Santa's special little helper by reading the book that accompanies the doll. Be sure to move the doll around the house to reinforce the notion that the Elf has left and come back during the night. This little helper is sure to keep your little ones on the nice list.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow. For some reason, the same weather that would make any adult run for cover, entices children to play outside for hours. You can keep your kids busy and safe by providing lots of ways to keep them entertained while outside. This winter fun house is made of rugged, cold-resistant PVC. In addition to the doorway there are three windows, and even a chimney. It can inflate in 15 minutes using a pump that can be purchased separately. They will be having so much fun, they probably won't even notice their cold little noses and toes. Just be sure to have that hot chocolate ready when they get home.

As a mother of 3 small children, I know how difficult it can be to make sure a toddler's pants stay put when a big diaper is in the way. So when I was offered the chance to sample a cinch belt from Bugalug, I accepted of course. The belt that arrived was well made and colorful. All three of my kids were instantly attracted to it and wanted to wear it, even the littlest one. The elastic component makes it a comfortable fit and it slid easily through the belt loops. If you have a skinny toddler, this belt is a great way to keep the pants up and stretch the life of a pair of pants. If you choose, you can also purchase a matching "cuff." It's a perfect accessory for any child with style. It has the same quality and looks so cute next to the matching belt.

There's no substitute for mommy and daddy's watch eye, but let's face facts. If you are juggling a few small children at the grocery or hardware store, it doesn't take much for one to wander off unexpectedly. The lure of candy on a shelf or other interesting object can be enough to create a few moments of panic for any parent. This Mommy I'm Here Child Locator can help you in that moment. The teddy bear device attaches to your child's belt or shoe and you hold the transmitter. If you need to locate your child, simply press the button and a loud 86 decibel alarm will alert you to your child's location. It works up to 150 feet away, but hopefully you won't need it anyway.

Your baby will enjoy years of use from this Infant To Toddler Rocker, he can find comfort looking at picture books in the same chair his mom used to rock him in years earlier. Remember when there used to be a gradual shift in temperatures when the seasons changed? Those days seem to be gone. In certain parts of the country, the temperature can drop about 20 degrees within 48 hours. It's hard to be prepared when you're faced with swings like that. Instead of keeping your closets packed with different coats, you can simplify your life with this 3 in 1 snow jacket. The outside is a water repellent parka and the inside is cozy fleece. Your child can wear them separately or together as a ski coat. You can also remove the hood or snap it back on according to your needs. Keeping track of the weather can be tricky, being prepared for it doesn't have to be.
