Unique Tri-fold Announcement from Apple Blossom Prints

Apple Blossom Prints recently debuted a new tri-fold photo birth announcement. It's a 5x15" announcement that features 6 5x5" panels. Each of the panels can be customized with pictures, birth facts, quotes and more. Each of their designs are completely customizable. The announcements are tri-fold, so they all fold down into a 5x5" square.
Each announcement is printed on heavy-weight cardstock in your choice of glossy, matte, or pearl finishes and include your choice of 5x5" envelopes (which require extra postage) or 5x7" envelopes for mailing.
With all the great photo birth announcements you can get out there, these tri-folding announcements definitely seem like a unique twist. If you're in the market, be sure to check them out!

Review: Mommy Cards at Fruition Designs
As I mentioned, I recently bought some Mommy cards. After doing some research, I eventually decided to buy my cards from Fruition Designs. They have a bunch of great Mommy card designs, so it was a hard decision choosing which one I liked the best. After considering both the Maureen Day and the Beverly Mason designs, I eventually chose the latter. However, since I only have a boy, I really wanted to not have pink in my cards. I emailed the company asking if a color change was possible, and they were more than accommodating. Soon a proof was sent over for me to see. I was told that if I didn't like the blue shown I could choose another color blue, but I really liked what I saw and placed my order. I would show you all, but then you'd know my home address, and that's just creepy!

Review: Tucker Paisley Card Holders
Tucker Paisley, whom I wrote about in April, sent me a cardholder to try out. I was quite excited as I really wanted to buy Mommy cards now that we just bought a house in a new place. This got me into gear to buy some Mommy cards so that I could use the card holder. The one I received is cream with a red design. It is lined in red satin and is quite stylish. I love using it!

Mommy Card Holders from Tucker Paisley
I just discovered Tucker Paisley, and I have fallen in love with this company. I wrote about them on Shirt Snob last week because they have awesome purses (check out the Sue-Sue, their diaper bag), but what I have to share with you are their Card Holders. Since we're buying a home in a new town, I want to buy some mommy cards to hand out as I meet other moms. And I really want one of these card holders for the cards. They are so stylish and I love the color combinations. You can also use it as a mini wallet too.

Review: Mango Ink
Mango Ink is another company in the business of high quality photo cards and announcements. They recently contacted us, and sent us a few samples of their products. We received a "Limited Photo Card", a "Personalized Thank You Note", and a "Personalized Photo Card".
Limited Photo Cards
Limited photo cards are available for a number of different events. Mango Ink carries cards for birthday invitations, baby events (like birth announcements), wedding events and holidays. All designs are availalbe as photos on a stiff cardstock backing, and the birthday invitations and baby events are also available as envelopments where the card stock backing extends to fold around the photo card in the middle.
The limited photo card we received is a birth announcement. It is a two-tone pink design, with a black and white photo in the center. It is mounted on a Coal cardstock backing, which is black with subtle sparkle flecks. The photo itself can be endlessly customized by you and the designers at Mango Ink, but the backing is available only in a dozen or so different colors. These photos are probably hand mounted, so there is a chance that your photo will be slightly off kilter like the one we received. Now, I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to things like this, so most of you might not even notice. Overall, the quality of these cards are fantastic. I would love to send these to all of my friends and family at every opportunity I get.
The Limited photo cards are $3.00 each, and must be ordered in groups of 8 ($24.00). The price includes all text, photos, modifications etc, and each card comes with a colored envelope. If you want to spend a little more, for $3.50 each, you can receive each card as an envelopment. Each envelopment comes with a clear envelope.

Chocolate Cigars from L.A. Burdick
If you're expecting, or know somebody who is, you might want to consider these baby favors from our favorite chocolatier, L.A. Burdick. L.A. Burdick makes all of their chocolates by hand, and we can say from experience that they are fantastic. The Chocolate Cigars are a great way to announce the birth of your child, or to say Congratulations
to new parents. L.A. Burdick also offers custom imprinting on the ribbons of all of their baby favors. However, there is a minimum order of 25, and L.A. Burdick requires at least two weeks notice. So, be sure to plan ahead!
