A cuddly baby blanket is a must-have any time of year, but sometimes it's easy to get bored of the typical butterfly and teddy bear look. That's why I love it when I can find a unique design that matches my baby's personality. This dragonfly blanket is made of soft organic fabric so I know it will be safe for my baby and the environment. It's so light I can throw it in the stroller or the crib so I know my baby will always feel comfy, but not toasty as the weather gets hotter.

Car Blanket

If your little one is into cars as much as mine is, he may adore the Car Blanket. This blanket has a picture of cars on it, and it's made from a cashmere and silk blend so it'll be quite soft and cozy. It's 100% washable and rolls up small enough to fit into your diaper bag, so it's a great blanket to take wherever you go.

Santa Blankie Buddy

The Santa Blankie Buddy is an adorable way to celebrate your baby's first Christmas. This luvie is velvet on one side, satin on the other, so it's soft and warm. When you shake Santa's head, it rattles. You can also personalize it.

Be Still and Knit Boutique

Be Still and Knit Boutique takes yarn that has been rescued from old sweaters, afghans, and other places and makes baby blankets with them. We love the idea of recycling yarn, and the blankets are quite beautiful. Each one is unique because they take from different scraps of yarn, but they are all still quite soft and snuggly. They are also all hand crocheted in the USA by stay at home moms. You can choose between either light or dark blankets. This boutique sells baby hats, booties, and more too.

Perennial Buggy Blanket by Brooks Pond

Books Pond makes some super cool products. Their Buggy Blanket is a great example. This blanket is much more than just a blanket. In the summer you can convert it to a lap pad or play mat, and its washable bottom half can be used as a liner to protect your stroller from sticky summer messes. In the Fall use just the breathable wind- and water-resistant nylon shell. In the Spring the scuff resistant boot guard and boot pouch protect the interior from muddy shoes. And of course, in the winter, use it to keep your child warm on those cold wintery walks!

Mairzey Dotes Blankets

I had been meaning to write about Mairzey Dotes Blankets since we recently had an ad up from them and they seemed like nice blankets. But of course life took over and I forgot. Today Peter and I were realizing that we need a blanket for Andy's crib, and I realized that these blankets would be perfect! All we have right now are super heavy blankets, and we realized that we need something to get us to winter. These blankets would be perfect. They come in a bunch of different styles and colors as well as in two different sizes.

Cherries Blanket

Andy has a ton of baby blankets, but he doesn't have a quilt. I still have the quilt I had as a baby, so I wish he had one too. The Cherries Blanket might be a little too girly for him, but it'd be perfect if you have a baby girl or know someone else who is having one. It has a bunch of cute fabrics that are colorful and fun as well as lots of different textures. There's also pink bows at each corner!
