Snazzy Baby Knee Pads

snazzybabykneepads.jpg

Last year this time, I did not know how to take Andy outside. He was crawling all over the place, but I was worried he'd scratch his knees on our drive way or get his knees dirty on our lawn. The Snazzy Baby Knee Pads would have alleviated my concerns. They have slip proof traction beads that guard against skidding, work on surfaces indoors and out, are adjustable with Velcro straps, and are machine washable. They allow full movement and can guard against wear and tear on pants too. They also fit up to four years, so you can use them as makeshift knee pads later on as well. This product was a Winner of the iParenting Greatest Products of 2006 award.

Bitty Bows Boutique

Bitty Bows Boutique

Sometimes, when your infant is going through that no-hair phase, a little bow in the hair can really help make a difference. At the very least, nobody will be guessing if your baby is a boy or a girl anymore. These hair clips at Bitty Bows Boutique are truly no-slip hair clips that work for even the finest haired babies and toddlers. Only the tiniest bit of peach fuzz is all that you need in order to get a great looking hair clip on your child's hair. And there are a lot of different designs to choose from. In addition to the classic bows, there are Minnie Mouse, fish, flower, and fruit designs.

Beautiful Ballet Flats at Black Wagon

balletflats.jpg

Ballet flats are definitely in for moms. But how about for our daughters? We've discovered the cutest ballet flats for little girls too. They come in metallic gold, metallic silver, metallic pink, and blue, and each has beading and a bow on the toe. I think they are so adorable, and I wish they were made in sizes for me too!

ToastyLegs

toastylegs.jpg

A good friend of mine gave birth a little over a year ago and like many mothers before her saw an area of opportunity. Out came ToastyLegs, little leg warmers for your baby. They are great because they can be used in lieu of pants to help with potty training, makes diaper changes a snap, and can protect cold legs in the winter, especially for girls that wear skirts. There are two different lengths, ten and thirteen inches, as well as many different designs including a bamboo one. ToastyLegs has an Etsy store where you can purchase them. Let them know that Super Cool Baby sent you!

Olympic Tees

tokyoolympic.jpg

There's a great line of Olympics tees at Babesta. If you want to celebrate the Olympics this year in style with your little one, you should check these out. They are unique, a little retro, and are perfect if you don't want your child wearing the same thing as everyone else at the playground. My top picks include the USA Olympic Tee, LA 1932 Olympic Tee, and the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Tee.

Keep a spare change of clothes with Pants In a Pinch

Index Hand

How many times have you been beset by this disaster: you're out on the town with your baby, and he has a diaper blowout. Ordinarily not a big deal, but he just had one yesterday, and you forgot to put another change of pants in your diaper bag! (Don't ask how many times this has happened to us, its too embarrassing to admit). Well, with Pants-In-A-Pinch, you can carry around a set of 100% cotton pants in a disc no larger than the size of your palm. You can get pants from size 3-6 months, all the way up to 6T. Imagine the places you could keep one: diaper bag, glove box, even your purse! There is one drawback, as far as I know. Once you take the pants out of their disc form you'll never get them back to that size/shape again.

Review: Monkey-Toes

IMG_0833.JPG

I am very excited to review Monkey-Toes as I am a huge fan of what I've seen on their website. Our loyal readers may remember that I wrote about them last December. They sell lots of adorable socks and shoes with cute designs, and all their shoes are even hand painted. Because they are so cute, children don't resist putting them on like they do other socks and shoes. Convincing Andy to get ready in the morning is a big issue for us at times, so I understand and appreciate how great any product is that helps us there! Monkey-Toes was started by a single mother who wanted to make putting on socks and shoes more fun for her children while also providing quality footwear. And of course she wanted her products to be super cute at the same time.

IMG_0807.JPG

The package we were sent included Boogie Monsters in size 5, LUV Bug Mary Janes in size 4, Little Ladies Socks in 3T, and Leap Frog Socks, also in 3T. These products are all cuter in person than on the website if that's possible. Each pair of shoes came wrapped in a clear plastic bag and tied with a ribbon. Both are nice and sturdy with rubber soles and made from a hearty canvas. We think they'll hold up really well to the wear and tear of a toddler. They are definitely strong enough for rough housing! I really like that both pairs don't need to be tied too. I'm a huge huge fan of Mary Janes, and I wish I had a girl of my own to put in this pair! There are nine different styles of Mary Janes available on their site. The monsters on the shoes are named Ralphie Right and Lefty Lu to help them learn their left and right. The socks are a medium thickness we'd say, so they could be worn during most temperatures. The tops are double stitched, and they held up well in the washing machine. There are two other styles of socks available on their website.

We are very happy with these products and cannot recommend them enough. They make a great present for a new mother, but we suggest you splurge and buy them for your own children too. Because really, the shoes make the outfit!

Infinitee at Black Wagon

infinitee.jpg

Black Wagon has started selling Infinitee, and we are thrilled because we love these t-shirt designs. We wish the designs started a little smaller than 2T, but they are super cute, so we can forgive them. There are currently four different designs available, and we hope more are added in the future!

Adoption Tee

adoptiontee2.jpg

I think this is a cute tee for those of our readers who have adopted children. From what I gather, sometimes random and even rude questions are asked, and this tee says very nicely that no matter what, our children are ours and we love them no matter where they came from. Adoption Mama, where I discovered the shirt, has a bunch of other tees you should check out too.

Waterloo Kids

waterlookidswonka.jpg

One of my favorite t-shirt companies has recently added a clothing line for children. Waterloo Kids has sizes starting at 2T, and their designs include a Clockwork Orange tee and a Led Zeppelin tee. I hope they add onesies in the future too. I think they'd be really cute!

Mohawk Hoodie at Rock & Rattle

mohawkhoodie.jpg

I love funky and fun clothing for babies and toddlers. They always look so adorable! Here's my new favorite find, the Mohawk Hoodie at Rock & Rattle. Granted, my son has a natural mohawk on his own, but now he can have one when he has his hood up. The hoodies come in three colors, the mohawks are removable, and they are interchangeable too! If you prefer, you can have a bow instead of a mohawk on the top of the hood too.

New! Toddler Clothes at Baby Soy

babysoytoddler.jpg

Baby Soy has started selling toddler clothes! I am so excited as we think their baby clothes are great. You may remember that I wrote about their reversible hoodie back in October. While they don't have a reversible one available for toddlers, they do have a regular hoodie that is adorable.

Fooey

fooeyoldschool.jpg

Our loyal readers have probably been able to figure out by now that I love children's and baby's t-shirts. This is probably because I love them for myself. I've found another website, and they've quickly become a favorite. I have no idea how I've missed them all this time. Fooey has been around for five years and have been shown in many magazines. Lots of celebrities are also fans of this site. We just like them because of their awesome designs. Some of our favorites include Old School, Radio Robot, the Superstar Corduroy Pants, and Button Tree - Infant Lil' Peasant Dress. There are a ton more, you should really check them out. They also just recently opened up a store for adults too, Let's Be Awesome.

Onesies by Tokidoki

tokidokisandy.jpg

Tobi, one of my favorites clothing stores for women, has recently started selling onesies by Tokidoki. They each have a Japanese inspired character on them, and they are super cute. There are four right now (Adios Onesie, Adios Star Onesie, SANDy Onesie, and Samba Onesie), and we hope more are added in the future!
