JJ Cole Diaper & Wipes Caddy

diapercaddy.jpg

I am always amazed at how much stuff you need for just one little person. It's so much easier to keep it all organized when you use the right tools, like this JJ Cole diaper caddy. You can keep the diapers, wipes and cream all in one place. Don't forget the toys, either. That helps when they get to the rolling stage! It's shown above in blue, but is also available in pink. It's also a perfect complement to the rest of the JJ Cole nursery items.

Diaper Dude Gray Diaper Bag

diaperdude2.jpeg

Don't forget Dad! There are so many cute and cuddly diaper bags on the market for moms and babies. Well, maybe dad doesn't want to be seen at the mall carrying a pink ruffled diaper bag covered in butterflies and teddy bears. Diaper Dude bags are perfect for the devoted dad who is also a man's man on the go. This bag has all the same convenient features of other bags. There are three exterior pockets for easy access to wipes and food. On the back there are two elastic pockets useful for carrying toys and it is padded for comfort against your body. The strap is adjustable for sizing as well. Any dad would be proud to be seen with this bag.

Wet Happened? TM wet bag

wetbagDPI.jpg

Ooops! What do you do when your baby's diaper leaks when you're not home or maybe gets a little car sick? Maybe you're just spending a day at the pool and need to store the wet bathing suit in a dry place. Dumping soiled clothes in an old plastic grocery bag can be unsanitary and help spread germs. Wet happened Wet Bags is a great way to store soiled clothes in a cleaner and more environmentally friendly way. When you get home, you can just throw everything in the washer, even the wet bag!! It's completely machine washable and then just tumble dry low. Click on the link for the different designs. You'll definitely find one to match your style.

Swipe

Once you are no longer changing diapers every time you leave the house, you don't really need a huge wipe carrier in your diaper bag. I think that Swipe is a great idea. It has a quick draw opening that you can use one handed, and it's not too big. Easy to even throw in your purse along with a single diaper. Or you could leave it in the car and fill it up when needed.

Caden Lane Lola Diaper Bag

I am looking for a new diaper bag for #2 that is on the way, and I really like the Lola Diaper Bag by Caden Lane. It has exterior side pckets, a key chain holder, water proof interior, stain resistent exterior, and an adjustable strap. It also comes with a matching zippered mama sack. I love the pink and brown combination. If I have a girl, it's at the top of my buying list!

Kiddopotamus & Co. Deluxe ChageAway Changing Kit

We had something like this Kiddopotamus Deluxe ChageAway Changing Kit that we used when we were out for a diaper change. It's a very convenient thing to have in your diaper bag. It'll give you a nice clean surface to change your baby's diaper on, and the pockets give you a spot to keep wipes, washcloths, ointment and so on. All it needs is a good way to open up with one hand, 'cause I always had trouble holding Anderson in one hand, while fishing this out and opening it up in the other in a restaurant rest room. But its definitely worth the effort, since who wants to put their child down on those dirty changing tables!

Drew Diaper Bag

drewdiaperbag.jpg

What is more important to a new mother than a diaper bag? This is the bag that she will be putting her life into, dragging everywhere she goes for the first year or more of her child's life. So of course, every mother wants to have a bag that is stylish, practical, and that she won't hate after owning a month. I think the Drew Diaper Bag is definitely one that fits this bill. It is made of Italian leather, has a drawstring closure so it is easy to access with one hand, and there are many pockets inside to hold your diapers, wipes, wallet, and whatever else you need to carry around with you. It comes with a machine washable changing mat. Best of all though, it doesn't look like a diaper bag! You can still use it when you go out on a date with your husband or on a quick errand alone.

Review: Arbonne Baby Care

Arbonne Baby Care

We've got a friend who is an Arbonne consultant who let us sample the full line of Arbonne Baby Care products. We've used the Hair and Body Wash and Body Oil in the past on the recommendation of our pediatrician. This time we also used the Body Lotion and Herbal Diaper Rash Cream.

Arbonne products are specially formulated to be very gentle to your child's skin. When Andy was younger, he had a persistent rash on his face and arms, and he always had very dry skin on his legs. We started using Arbonne products and the rash quickly cleared up. Arbonne is much more gentle than the other hair and body wash products that we were using, which is very nice if your child has sensitive skin.

The nicest thing about these products is their smell. They all have a very similar fresh herbal smell, including the Diaper Rash Creme, which is a refreshing change. The Diaper Rash Creme and the Body Lotion were both a less viscous than what I was expecting. This made them both a lot easier to spread, but I accidentally dispensed too much before I realized this!

If you're looking for a line of products for your baby's sensitive skin, and don't mind paying a little bit more, then I definitely recommend the line of Arbonne products. You can buy them from your local Arbonne consultant, or online. To order online, please use Consultant ID #17508916. Let her know that you found her on "Super Cool Baby" and you'll receive 25% off your order of $25 of more.

Diaper Sprayer from bumGenius

diapersprayer.jpg

I never used cotton diapers, and I really regret it. I had no idea how to get started and all the neat items that are available to help out with it. The Diaper Sprayer from bumGenius is an ingenious invention for all of you who do use or would like to try out cloth diapers. It is a high pressure sprayer that rinses clean diapers, keeping your hands clean. It can later be used for rinsing potty chairs. It says it is easy to install, and the package includes the sprayer, fixtures, a hose, and mounting clips.

Green and Clean Changing Table Cover

changingtablecover.jpg

I've stopped carrying a diaper bag, but Andy is still in diapers so sometimes I need to change him in public bathrooms. I hate to do it because who knows when the changing area has last been cleaned. I think the Green and Clean Changing Table Cover is perfect for someone like me. It is a cover that goes over the bathroom changing table so you don't have to worry about them being germ free. It is also biodegradable, decomposing in a few months, so it isn't hurting the environment. It comes in a diaper bag friendly zip pouch, but I'd just pull one out at a time and keep it in my purse just in case.

Diaper EZ

diaperez.jpg

Even the best diaper pails don't seem to control all of the odor associated with dirty diapers, especially once your baby starts eating solid food. If taking dirty diapers directly out to the garbage outside isn't an option, we've found Diaper EZ. One bottle will treat over 1,000 diapers, and it works with the diaper champ, diaper genie, and other diaper pails. It's also non-toxic and day care tested. It works by spraying the diaper after you remove it from your child. We haven't tried it personally, but it sounds like a great idea!
