Home Sweet Play Home

All children like areas that are just for them, and anything that resembles a fort is even better. The Home Sweet Play Home is just that, a special play tent just for your child. It hangs from the ceiling (works with ceilings up to 9 feet tall), is available in four colors, and is great for a playroom, bedroom, or basement.

Frog Humidifier at The Land Of Nod

Keeping the air in your child's nursery comfortable requires a humidifier in many parts of the country. However, your humidifier doesn't have to be ugly. Take one of these Frog Humidifiers over at the Land of Nod. The one gallon tank will last for up to 11 hours, and the dial control makes it easy to select the desired humidity level. When the water runs out, the power light turns read, so its always easy to tell when you need to fill it up. Humidifiers are one of the recommended treatments when your child gets a cold, so make sure you have one ahead of time, this winter.

Vintage Prints at Old Vintage Cottage

I really adore the Vintage Prints at Old Vintage Cottage. They are really nice and wholesome, reminding us of Norman Rockwell. Each one is framed in an off white wooden frame. If you're looking to decorate your nursery in a timeless fashion, this is the way to go!

Good Nite Lite

Children who wake up too early can be a really frustrating issue for many parents. Ideally we want to teach our children how to sleep well on their own, but they don't always understand when they should get up, especially when they are quite young. An easy way to help them learn and understand when they should wake up (or on the other end of the spectrum, to help them wake when you need them to), there is the Good Nite Lite. Basically, it is a traditional night light, but it has a built in timer that changes what you see to reinforce regular sleep patterns. During the night, it looks like a moon, and when it is time to wake up in the morning, it brightens into a sun. If your child wakes up too early for the rest of the family or needs to learn to wake up early whether for school or to go to day care, this is a good product for you!

Also available are similar ones with princess, time, and sugar plum themes.

Farmyard Symphony-In-Motion Mobile

The Farmyard Symphony-In-Motion Mobile seems like a great mobile for your crib. It plays classical music (Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven), has farm animals that move around, and lots of squiry shapes and bright colors. While it might not be great for getting your little one to sleep, it's perfect if she wants something fun that she can giggle to.

Cariboo Classic Bassinet in Mahogany

Anderson **hated** his bassinet when he was a newborn. It's too bad, as that would've been a bit more convenient for us than the pack & play he ended up in. That being said, I wish we had a one of these Cariboo Classic Bassinets in Mahogany. This stylish bassinet (also available in other colors) will complement your bedroom furniture and give your baby a comfortable place to sleep during the first few weeks and months of his life. The fabric zips off and is machine washable for easy care and cleaning. Luckily you'll get more than a few months use out of it: the bassinet can be converted to a toy chest!

Wallcandy Arts Tulips

It took me a while to warm up to artwork that sticks right to the wall, probably because the house we lived in when we first had Andy had textured walls that it wouldn't work on. Now I love the idea and think there are so many beautiful designs out there perfect for a nursery. Check out these Tulips for example. Each kit has 48 flowers. They are 13 inches tall and there are bright pink, light pink, and yellow flowers. They are removeable, and you can have them go across a room, bunch them up, or whatever you want to create something unique just for your baby.
