Puddle Jumpers

waterwings.jpg

I recently saw these puddle jumpers in action and was amazed! A little girl was wading through the baby pool, tripped and fell. Then, she flipped right on her back. This is a real upgrade from your regular water wings. They are comfortable and easy to slip on. Of course, there is no substitute for parental supervision, but it never hurts to have the right safety tools either.

Sun Smarties Family Beach Cabana Tent

beachcabana.jpg

When it comes to sun safety, you can't be too careful. Sunscreen, sun glasses, and water are staples in the summer. For added protection while outdoors, bring your own pop up tent to block the sun's harmful rays. This beach tent has an SPF of 50 and has breathable ventilation panels that zipper up when a little privacy is needed. When the day is over, simply fold it up, put it in its carrying case and head home. When you hit the road again, just throw it in the car and off you go.

It's great to be outdoors this time of year. Many families are glad to soak up some sun after a long winter. If you are taking a stroll in the park or attending an outdoor festival, it is important to protect your baby from the sun. Many strollers have a window in the canopy so you can keep an eye on your baby. The downside... you are also letting the sun in. This oversized shade attaches easily to your existing stroller for added protection. It's easy to adjust and even rolls into a self storage pocket. You can hand wash it when small messes occur. InStep Grand Safari Swivel Wheel Jogger

jogstroller.jpg

As jogging strollers go, this one is a pretty good bargain. It is reasonably priced and has so many great features. It has pneumatic tires with molded rims that provide performance and style. There are cup holders for the runner and the baby because hydration is important if you are running or just along for the ride. If you have a high tech little one in your stroller, then you both will love the built in MP3 player for the baby.

Perky-Pet® Window Mount Feeder

birdfeeder.jpg

As parents, we spend a lot of time finding ways to keep our little ones busy indoors. We fill our homes with plenty of toys and colorful distractions. There's nothing wrong with that. One day you might find yourself looking for something a little bit different though. Then you can bring the outdoors in with this simple window mounted bird feeder. This one is shatter proof and ideal for all climates. Infants as young as few months old will be fascinated with the fluttering images and sounds the birds make. As your child grows, you can use the feeder as a tool to teach your child about the importance of caring for smaller creatures and other more scientific lessons. It is important to be creative in your approach to parenting, but that doesn't always have to mean crayons, paints, and craft sticks.
