For many months now, Anderson has loved using crayons, but I realized that we've never really written about them before. Crayola has a line of "big" crayons which are great for small hands, and they also have Washable Triangular Crayons which are really nice since they won't roll off the table. These crayons really are washable. They'll come right off the table, walls, even clothes. Just wash off with a sponge and warm water. Crayola also has several other products that are made specially just for babies and toddlers. With the holidays coming, these crayons should be every baby's stocking!

Looking for a ride on toy that doesn't look like every other one on the block? Check out the Speedster Racers at Land of Nod. These vintage style cars have all-steel bodies with working steering columns, rubber tires, and comfortable seats. They are chip and rust resistant, come in two different colors, and are great for any child one year of age and up.
I never had enough toys like the Flower Fairy Stroller Toy by Haba for Andy. Sure, he's turned out fine, but I wish I had given him a few more toys for our strollers and car seat. Obviously this is only for the stroller as it's wooden (wouldn't want it to accidentally bump your baby in the head!). It hangs from an elastic cord, has wooden beads that rattle, and there are fabric flower petals. It is for babies 6 months or older.

The Tolo Rolling Shape Sorter is one of those simple toys that kids really get a kick out of. We don't have one in our home, but whenever we visit one that does, Anderson always plays with it for a good long while. Its honestly one of the few toys that can really keep his attention. This particular rolling shape sorter will stimulate young minds to learn and develop with sound and pitch, colors and shapes, gripping and release, sorting skills, and touch and feel. The six colorful shapes will rattle when shaken or rolled for extra enjoyment!

Here's another present that we purchased for Anderson. The Vtech Kidizoom Digital Camera is a camera specially crafted to be used by toddlers and kids. It's built extra-tough, can be viewed with both eyes, and has grips designed to fit little hands. The built-in flash will let you take pictures in nearly any environment, and it can even shoot video. The included photo editing software allows kids to distort pictures or add silly frames. We'll have a full review of this product early next year once Andy has a chance to check it out.

We picked up the LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Alphabet Set as a present for Anderson. It's basically an old-school magnetic refrigerator alphabet set on steroids. With this set, your toddler can place any letter into the letter reader and press it in to hear its name, sound, and a phonics song. Each letter is big, easy to grip, and safe for kids 2 years an up. The letter reader also attaches itself to your refrigerator with magnets. It requires 3 AAA batteries, which are included in the package.
Andy has always been interested in bringing his doggie and many toys from room to room with him in whatever contraption he is currently pushing around the house. Some days he uses our kitchen chairs, other times his dump truck, and still others his various push toys. I like the Oompa Walker Wagon by Haba because it is designed for your child to push around whatever is his favorite toy or stuffed animal. It is made of solid wood and finished with non-toxic colors, and it has a roomy seat as well as storage in the back too!

Here is a beautiful nativity scene that you can encourage you children to play with instead of to not touch! The Deluxe Nativity Set has 24 pieces including baby Jesus, wise men, and camels, is made of wood, and even comes in a wooden box that you can personalize.
The Wooden Chanukah Set is a great way to teach your little ones about this holiday in a fun and safe way. There are 31 pieces in total, including a menorah with pretend candles, a dreidel, gelt, and latkes. It also comes in a pouch that you can personalize!

Trains are always a big hit with both boys and girls alike, so we have bought Andy many different toy trains since he was born. I really like the idea of a special Christmas train that only comes out during the holidays, such as the Santa Stacking Train and Track because the presents and passengers can be loaded on and off too. This is the type of toy Andy's always loved as he likes to put things on and take them off over and over again. You can also personalize the velvet storage sack too!
